About Faringdon Record Fair

We're a small independent record fair that typically runs twice a year in April and November. It's always been a community-oriented event, aiming to support local charities based in Faringdon.

We welcome local and independent record sellers and charge a modest fee for vendor space and table hire. We charge all visitors £1 entrance and these monies go to support one of our chosen local charities.

Weather-permitting, we look forward to hearing music from Los Amigos, Faringdon's vinyl DJ collective outside during the busy Saturday morning market in our beautiful town centre.

Who we are

Al Cane

Faringdon Record Fair was conceived and created by Al Cane, a pillar of the Faringdon community, DJ and lifelong music fan. Al plays regular soul and ska nights and is also a talented photographer.

Martin Long

Martin has lived in Faringdon forever and is well known as both a local DJ and massive LEGO fan. He's played parties and weddings from rock to disco but 80's synth-pop is his go‑to music of choice at home.

Donate your records

We welcome donations of records that we can sell ourselves at our Record Fair, in order to raise more money for our chosen charity. Please contact us if you have records you would like to donate for us to sell.

Community Owned Guidance Service is a free 1-2-1 counselling service for 12-25 year olds based in Faringdon for the town and surrounding area.

Faringdon Foodbank

Faringdon Foodbank supports people who are in financial crisis. Tinned and dried food donated by the local community, and other essential non-food items such as toiletries are provided to support those in need.

The Place

The Place is Faringdon's family and children's project. It's a community group providing support for all Families in the Faringdon area with children aged five years and under, new parents and parents-to-be.
